Her Story:

In the winter of 2016, I was done with all the emotions associated with picking the wrong men to pursue and I decided to turn to prayer. In March that year, I went on a life-changing pilgrimage to France and Italy with my parents, where I got to experience a true deepening of faith. It was during this trip where I began a novena to St. Anthony to help me find a soul that was good for me, while my mother started a novena to St. Raphael to heal me (without me knowing at the time). As we traveled throughout Italy, I remember stopping in Rome, and of course, infamously tossing a coin into the Trevi Fountain to find love. (Come on, what kind of tourist would I be if I didn't do this?)
Well after three weeks, it was finally time to go back to New York. Less than one month later, I thought I had just attended my cousins' wedding as a bridesmaid. Turns out, the night had far more significance than I could have ever planned. It was the night I met my future husband and my best friend in one. The man who fulfilled every prayer I ever sent up to Heaven. That night we danced, we laughed, and we completely lost track of time while chatting. And that night we began to fall in love with one another's soul, without even knowing it.
But sometimes God wants to get His credit where credit is due, and so, He makes it very obvious. For it isn't every day that a novena is prayed to two saints that will then share my husband-to-be's name -- Raphael Anthony.
And well, the rest was history….God, you really are that good! Oh, and that Trevi is pretty cool too. ;)
